Mural Revisited
Large section of the wall mural with 2 of the 3 Lego displays
A few better quality shots of the Christmas Mural which was a fully illustrated 6+ metre long wall piece, with 3 Lego displays set into the panoramic, augmenting parts of the mural with underground workshops and tunnels.
Santa's Workshop
The display base is 60cm approx which gave a lot of breadth to build into. Designing a conveyor belt style panoramic build suited the length and this dictated the shape of everything around it. Building a strong roof was key, with the back Lego wall providing a lot of hidden strength to allow the front to appear as a cross section through a mound of snow, unveiling the busy elfs.
Santa descending the chimney
I post-edited a few action shots in Photoshop to create a warm Christmas atmosphere, glowing fairy lights and sizzling fireplaces.
