Lego Christmas Mural at mac Birmingham!

A look back with some more photos of the massive illustrated / Lego Christmas mural I created at mac!

mac gave the thumbs up to the Lego displays!

An estimated 5000 bricks were used within the 3 display cases, including Santa's workshop which was crammed full of presents and elves preparing for Christmas!

Another build included a large log cabin where toys were put through Christmas tests and Santa auditions were completed!

Not everyone was happy about being denied a Santa audition, including Lord of the Rings' evil Saruman!

Auditions were carried out in a simulated room with an against-the-clock chimney descent as elves looked on!

The fictional New Town sat in the North Pole, inspired by fairytale-like architecture from around the world.

Whilst the elves worked tirelessly in the workshop, Christmas precedings ensued- including snowball fights and a proposal!
